Seems like a lifetime since we were back delivering face to face. It has only been since October half term, but this has a different feel to it, that things are slowly getting better. Though we are delivering face to face, we are taking a different approach. Instead of just targeting our remit of 5-24, we are inviting families to join in, at a time where being together is needed. We have taken all the necessary precautions to make sure the event is safe for all, including only permitting single households per session, deep cleans between sessions and social distancing throughout, between instructor and participants.
Our launch yesterday saw a 1/4 of our spaces fill with families wanting to get involved. We are looking forward to delivering something fun to them, which will hopefully reduce their anxiety about COVID in the community and improve their well being.
“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn’t as individuals.” – Jean Vanier
